Alexandre Funashima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of São Paulo, with a specialization in Painting and Drawing. Since the age of 10, he studied drawing through various courses, and by the age of 15, he was already creating caricatures and live portraits at events focused on Japanese culture in the interior of São Paulo.

At 18, he was already teaching basic drawing courses. In 2008 and 2009, he organized Expo Art, an exhibition featuring foreign artists living in Japan, in the city of Hamamatsu.

In 2006, he began studying digital painting and drawing, and in 2008, he started teaching Arts and Art History at Brazilian schools in Japan. Currently, he works as a Freelance Illustrator, Visual Artist, and teacher of digital drawing and painting.
